The continued presence of the Japanese Paradise Flycatcher plus the Chinese Goshawk, the Northern Boobook, and the resident Philippine Eagle Owls, prompted another visit to the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (NAPWC) this weekend. The original plan was Sunday, November 9, but the impending arrival of Typhoon Uwan, made us change our plans to today, November 8. My main targets for the day were The Chinese Goshawk and the Northern Boobook but unfortunately I dipped on both birds. We did have plenty albeit challenging, looks with the current starbird. Sharing some of today's captures.

And as with any WBPP birding sortie, there are a lot of wisecracks in between shoots. Here is the group this morning.

And what made the morning more special was a PHG reunion of sorts...

Thank you Lord for the time to enjoy the beauty of your creation with good friends - old and new...
