Sabong!

Sometime in the afternoon of March 17, during one of our recent Bird Tours, we saw two male Black-chinned Fruit Doves fight. They were under the canopy of a big mango tree so lighting was not all that good. Plus there were we many branches and leaves that prevented an open shot. I was standing almost directly under them as they began to fight. I pointed my camera and pressed the back-button focus and the shutter and hoped that I would get sharp enough shots. Luckily, I got some. Sharing the sabong between these two birds.

Presumably the victor because the other one left

Based on the time stamp on my shots, the whole thing lasted only a minute but it felt a lot longer when we were shooting.
